I discovered the Takumi-kun series a few weeks ago, and I was instantly drawn to the story! There's a tenderness to the main couple's feelings especially as they grow over the years that is rare and very sweet to watch, and we have the superb actors to thank for that!
I knew Watanabe Daisuke from his role in the Hanaoni movies, and I liked him a lot, but he really shines in the Takumi-kun movies! Wow, what a great actor you are Daisuke-san, I am so touched by your performance! He's exactly how Gii needs to be, and such a great difference from the actor who portrayed Gii in the first movie! Daisuke as Gii is both a strong, refreshing, ***下载/download/otomedream/ダウンロード*** y character but he also shows his more tender and vulnerable side in this movie, and I absolutely love that!
Kyousuke Hamao, he is a little awkward in the bed scenes with Daisuke, BUT EVEN IN THOSE SCENES, HE IS STILL SO CUTE >.< He is also the exact image of Takumi, it was great choice to cast him for the role. I loved the scenes where he got jealous, hahaha, he was so cute getting mad with jealousy over Morita xD
I think the second movie completely revitalized the entire series, and it is only too bad they didn't start with this cast from the first movie as well! You can feel so much the chemistry between Takumi and Gii in this second movie, and how much closer to each other the sadder happenings in the movie bring them. The electric, passionate chemistry Takumi and Gii show on screen in this second movie, especially through the anxiety and emotional ups and downs portrayed by Takumi, only makes you want more and be impatient to see the next movies to find out how their relationship progresses, so I am really satisfied with the changes they made in the second movie.
